All Kansas Victim Impact Panels are English-speaking only. Anyone in need of a translator is welcome to bring someone who can translate for them. MADD does not provide translators of any language. If you are not able to bring someone to translate for you, please look into our online VIP class.

MADD Kansas Victim Impact Panel Requirements

The cost for all in-person VIP’s in Kansas is $55 payable by money order or credit/debit card only. (Please note there will be a $3.00 processing fee added to this transaction). No cash or checks are accepted.
Pre-registration can only be completed online. While pre-registration is not required, it does guarantee you a seat at venues where seating may be limited.
Regardless if you pay online or in-person, you must bring a photo ID with you when checking-in at the panel. A photo ID consists of a driver’s license, work or school ID or a Passport.
Do not call the venue where panels are being held with questions. They have no affiliation with MADD and are not able to provide you with information regarding the VIP.
You will receive a certificate of completion at the VIP at the end of the program. This is what you will give to your probation/diversion officer or whoever ordered you to attend the VIP.
Registration begins at 5:30pm. The doors close and the panel begins promptly at 6pm. No one will be allowed in after 6pm. No exceptions.
Every attendee may be tested for the presence of alcohol by law enforcement via a preliminary breath test (PBT). If you are or appear to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, you will not be allowed to attend the VIP and your registration fee will not be refunded to you.
On-line VIP – Available by going to www.maddvip.org. The cost for the on-line VIP is $65. Before registering for an on-line VIP check with your Probation/Diversion Officer or whoever ordered you to attend a VIP to see if the on-line VIP option meets their requirements. Once you register for the on-line VIP, MADD does not have the ability to refund your fee.
